General Objectives
- Investigate sensory processes as systems through which a
person gathers and processes information from internal and external
environments.
- Contribute to training research scientists and
technicians, and to developing the diffusion of the field in Argentina.
- Transfer our research results to scientific, technological,
educational, health and industrial sectors.
Research Project Goals
Sensory systems; acoustic, chemical and visual
signal processing.
- Sensory evaluation of the components of flavor: smell, taste,
pungency and viscosity.
- Recognition of acoustic and phonetic patterns in the speech sequence.
- Visual information processing.
- Psychophysical measurement techniques.
